Gain access to the full Users Manual to accompany your GroundHound Site Safety Monitor system, so with or without network access, setting up, using and troubleshooting your system is made easy.

The GroundHound Site Safety Monitor was designed as a measurement tool to alert the user of an unsafe condition on a high voltage work site. Often times the user is unaware of an unsafe condition as these conditions can be steady (voltage deviation climbs over the course of minutes to hours) or in the form of transients (intermittent large spikes in voltage over the course of a fraction of a second). That being said, the GroundHound Site Safety Monitor is not designed to prevent these phenomena, but rather to alert the user of the phenomena in the hopes of characterizing when it occurs and to what extent.

In order to properly alert all affected personnel on a work site of an unsafe electrical deviation in the earth, the GroundHound is equipped with visual as well as audible alarms. Once properly set up, the instrument will provide a series of visual flashing patterns and audible beeping patterns when an unsafe condition is observed.

The GroundHound Site Safety Monitor is also equipped with a SmartPhone interface, allowing a dedicated site foreman to be immediately alerted not only of an unsafe rise in ground potential, but also technical insight into the condition such as voltage and energy levels even after the condition has passed. Logging features on both the iPhone application and instrument allow for data to be saved and referenced for future use.
